seated.now (originally built as an AMC tooling experiment) shows live seat-availability heatmaps across showtimes and auditoriums. Pick a theatre, scan the calendar, and see at a glance which screenings still have the seats you want — center, aisle, or a full row — before opening the chain checkout flow.

The app abstracts multiple theatre providers behind a single interface. A SvelteKit frontend talks to provider-specific seat APIs, with a Go relay handling AMC GraphQL mutations for deeper flows like direct order creation and checkout links.

Invite-only magic-link auth gates access. The heatmap grid, multi-day calendar, theatre finder, and mobile bottom sheet were built for fast comparison shopping — less clicking through seat maps, more knowing where to land before you book.
